"Lida is the dance-whisperer."
Gary Shore, Department of Performing Arts, Roger Williams University

Lida is an artist: primarily a dancer.  She is also a storyteller, choreographer, theater, spoken word and visual artist. Lida is an educator.  She has taught dance, theater, storytelling, and visual arts to children and adults, people with physical and/or mental disabilities, English language learners, refugees, rural and urban youth, homeless families, professional artists, college students and educators.

As a Teaching Artist, Lida encouraged students to see themselves, their bodies, and their environment from a new angle.  It is her hope that what transpires within the class is brought out into the world.  Our need to communicate comes through our words and body no matter what our background is.  It is Lida's hope that all students leave her class feeling seen and inspired.
